Refurb and restore
Our refurbishment job out in the New Forest is going really well. After a somewhat wet start last week in which some rather soggy thatchers were forced to show their true mettle as they soldiered on, unfazed despite being dripping wet, the work is now well underway with the roof beginning to look refreshed, tidy and loved once more. Now the existing ridge has been removed and the thatched elevation has had all the debris removed, the thatch itself is in a much improved condition which has restored the natural ventilation and which will add many more years to its lifespan.
The turnover patterned block ridge is next up for our thatching magic and always adds a stunning finish to every job and will top off this cottage roof beautifully.
